Farming and shipping and rocking, oh my?

I desire to game this weekend. I have games about farming. and excavating, and caravanning, casino building, but not so much about shipping.

Is there going to be any gaming this weekend? Hmm? I could have people over if they were interested, unless anyone else wants to be gracious.

Please let me know if there is going to be gaming, and if so where. That way I know if I have to prepare for the invasion of the horde. Or something.

I am doubtful; if prognosis improves I will update.

Amazingly prognosis improved; it looks like I can be in for weekend gaming after all. My chances for hosting do not look good; and even if they improve I don't know how many folks would want to come up to Boerne.

I have a series of lectures to give in Chicago in two weeks and I need to be reasonably productive on the few weekends I have left, so unless someone has an extra easy button lying around, no hosting for me for the next three weekends.

I'm doing baby stuff this weekend, then I get to play military for the next two weekends. The one good thing about going out of town to play military is lots of free time to read rulebooks. Going with me on this trip will be: StarCraft Broodwar; Unhappy King Charles; and the ubiquitous Lock and Load version 3 that I vow to someday play. Its possible I'll receive the Flying Colors expansion before I leave, so that will make the trip as well, as the new 2.0 rules will be included.

1. Scott can you and I agree on games that we would actually want to play? Since as it stands it would be just you and me.

2. An easy button would be fantastic. I want one. Or more than one. Would make these night time work shifts a lot easier. At least it is warm in Chicago this time of year. For Chicago at least.

3. Baby and military things. Fun.

I suppose I should not be surprised that end of the year stuff is keeping people busy. And by year I mean academic year. I myself am procrastinating on a talk that I am giving next week for the department. Ah well.

Let me see if any one else is remotely interested in gaming before I make a decision.

Tomorrow is Katy's 30th birthday; I don't think gaming is at the top of her list but I'll keep working on it.

Hmm. With just me and Scott, and a maybe Travis, I am not certain that gaming makes sense. So unless I get a resounding yeah I'll game before bed tonight, I think it is a no go. Sadness.
